Proverbs 3:5

Proverbs 3:5 NIV
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Its hard trust in the Lord with all your heart when your child is going through so much. Yesterday was a really hard day for my son in turn for me. I cried. The doctors are making him wear a patch now and probably for three months, I know they don't realize how hard that is for him. I'm trying to continue with the aroma business but when my mind is in other places its hard to concentrate on promoting a business. I got my first and second order, a third one in the works hopefully, I suppose its time to get busy and get to work. We visited Gildas Club House last night, we were hoping for more of a child orientated place. It would be so cool for child who are going through or have gone through cancer to have a place to hang out and just have fun. A place to meet other children and not worry about talking about their feelings, just knowing that the kid your playing basketball with knows what you are going through without saying a word. If I knew how to do it, I would make a place myself for them.

Another step accomplished

So I didn't do a thing yesterday because my son was home from school. He is having a hard time sleeping, in turn I am too. He was anxious about things since we had to make a trip to Philadelphia to see his doctors and hasn't relaxed since. He is a Cancer Survivor and is coming to the point of stability. He was one when he was diagnosed and has had almost 50 procedures done to his eyes, having two tumors in each eye. He is doing really good right now except for sleeping.

Thus bringing me to needing a business at home. With the help of my dear friend, we came up with this Aroma Scented Satchels ideas. It is coming along very nicely, ordered packaging today. Still working on the 80 samples for the "out of the box sampler" which are cute. I am enjoying the keeping busy although my housework as suffered, still working the kinks out.

Have to fix my etsy account soon, get back to making samples, clean work area and house. whew

Getting Started

I am jumping into an online business. I am a stay at home Mom of a very special 8 year little boy and needed something. So I have no idea what I am doing and without the help of my dear friend and neighbor I would be lost. I have a few products, got my tax ID#, got an account on "etsy", an email account and made my own business cards. I'm both scared and excited. Things seem to be coming together though. I plan on "launching" sometime in March and hope that is a reasonable amount of time to get everything in order. I committed to sending in samples to the "out of the box sampler" and have been working on them for a couple days now. Its fun for me to have something to do throughout the day instead of keeping up on the house.
